πŸ“– Not All Readers Are Leaders, But All Leaders Are Readers.

I used to think reading was boring in high school. Why read when I could just Google everything, right?

But something changed when I started college. I decided to give reading a chance, and it completely changed my life for the better!

I started reading for just 30 minutes a day. I wasn't the fastest reader. I took my time and enjoyed each page.

Took detailed notes so I could always refer to them later. I realized reading wasn't a race - it was an opportunity to grow and learn.

Here are 7 Benefits of Daily Reading for Your Mind:

1) Grows your knowledge: When you read books, articles, and reports, you learn a lot about different things related to your work.

2) Sparks creativity: Reading books can give you new ideas and make you think about things in different ways.

3) Develop empathy: Books allow you to step into someone else's shoes. It helps you understand others better.

4) Makes you think more clearly: When you read, you get better at thinking through things and figuring out what makes sense.

5) Improves communication skill: Reading different kinds of writing can make you better at expressing yourself and understanding new words.

6) Makes you a better writer: The more you read, the better you get at writing because you learn from other writers.

7) Improves focus and attention: In today's world of short-form content and depleting attention spans, reading can help you improve your concentration and focus.

Some people get overwhelmed trying to decide what books to read first. Should they start with fiction or nonfiction? Business or self-help?

My advice: don't listen to anyone else. Just follow your heart and pick the one that feels right and exciting to you. Don’t overthink.

Start with books that genuinely interest you. The one that makes you say "Wow, I really want to dive into this!"

Reading might just change your life just like it changed mine. Give it a shot & I promise it will be worth it.

Which book are you currently reading? I'd love to hear some book recommendations in the comments!
